About The Position

NEP Virtual Studios combines Prysm Stages, Lux Machina, and Halon Entertainment under one banner to provide best-in-class virtual production services around the world. Lux Machina and Prysm stages design, build, and operate state of the art Virtual Production facilities while Halon Entertainment provides Game cinematic creation, visualization, and virtual art department services from concept to final pixel.

Halon is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Postvis Supervisor for exciting high profile projects. In this role you work closely with Directors and Visual Effects Supervisors to develop the look and feel of the project. Supervisors will be using a combination of After Effects, Maya and camera tracking programs to help develop the look and feel of the project. This is a remote-work opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the client to ensure that their vision is met, constantly improving on their wishes
  • Take responsibility to meet the pressures and demands of a production schedule, working with the Production team to deliver on time and on budget
  • Work closely with the Production team to ensure an accurate production schedule is set up and maintained
  • Work closely with all departments on pipeline improvements and developments
  • Mentor and support the artists on their team, motivate and provide effective feedback to artists, train artists and understand how to develop artist abilities
  • Communicate with Halon production team on current and foreseen problems that will need to be addressed


  • 3-5 years of experience as a Post Visualization Supervisor preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Maya and After Effects are essential
  • Strong compositing knowledge and modern techniques to develop high end environments
  • Excellent knowledge of cinematic language and camera terminology
  • Firm understanding of cameras, staging, composition, perspective, pacing, timing and cinematography concepts in animation context
  • Excellent at communicating creative and technical thoughts and ideas in a positive, professional manner
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure
  • Encouraging attitude towards feedback and new initiatives
  • Experience of working to tight budgets and timelines
