PREVIS

“There is no better way to breakdown complex Scenes into achievable Shots and impactful Sequences than with PreVisualization.”

THE BATMAN

PREVIS & TECHVIS

For The Batman, Halon provided previs and techvis to help bring Matt Reeves’ cinematic vision to life.

The previs supplies rapid iteration of creative exploration for the scenes, and the techvis is then used to breakdown the physical parameters of the previs to to ensure the shots in the sequence are physically attainable.

Some of the key sequences included the Penguin Batmobile chase, Mitchell’s Funeral, and the Bat Glider sequence, the latter of which involved charting out the distance, arc, and key angles of Batman’s descent in order to deliver the most realistic effects possible.
